I know a lot of people want this feature, and someday I may put it in, but for now I just don't have the time (sorry). To use QT Synthesizer, you must have Quicktime 2.0 installed on your Macintosh. In addition, it is strongly recommended that you have the Quicktime Musical Instruments extension which is available from Apple (it's on the System 7.5 CD-ROM and a few other places too). You take and combine these movies with your QuickTime movies and viola, you have a way to put rolling credits at the end. To create your credits, first create a text file with your credits (TextEdit works nicely for this). Then open CreditMaker. You can change things like the font, font style and color and other stuff. Then choose Make Credits... from the file menu. First it asks you for the name of the final Credits movie, then it asks you to find the text file with your credits. Viola, that's it, the program will create the files from there. Simple and fun! No backgrounding is an option to play movies without having to quit other applications which may cause jerky playback. FastPlayer is not fat binary. My code runs very little during movie playback so there would be no speed gain in recompiling. This is a simple trick that anyone can do to improve the color of quicktime moovs on a mac that can only display 256 simultaneous colors. Then, all you have to do, is cut out the box on each page, staple them together and voila - an old fashioned flip book!
